Rebates on public chargers for medium- and heavy-duty vehicles

The Public Charger Program offers rebates on direct current fast chargers (DCFC). Get rebates on public chargers for medium- and heavy-duty zero-emission vehicles.

Eligibility details

Who can apply:

  • Businesses
  • Indigenous communities
  • Local governments
  • Non-profits
  • Public sector organizations and utilities

Your project site must be:

  • Located in B.C.
  • Always accessible to medium- and heavy-duty (MHD) vehicles
  • Designed to accommodate Class 6 vehicles or larger
  • Able to charge at least 2 MHD vehicles at one time
  • Owned by you or a site you have the right to use for at least 10 years

Costs incurred before approval are not eligible for reimbursement.
