Rebates and support for zero-emission fleet charging
This program supports fleets making the transition to zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs). Get rebates on electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, fleet assessments, and electrical infrastructure upgrades.

Eligibility details
Who can apply
Organizations that own light, medium and heavy-duty fleets located and registered in B.C.
Eligible organizations:
- Electricity or gas utilities
- Companies
- Non-profits
- Industry and research associations
- Indigenous and community groups
- Academic institutions
- Public sector organizations like local governments, school districts and health authorities
Not eligible:
- Crown corporations
- B.C. and federal governments
- Home-based businesses
Costs incurred before approval are not eligible for reimbursement.

Rebate options and amounts
EV charging station rebates
- Get back 50 percent of project costs
- Indigenous communities get back 75 percent of project costs
- Public sector organizations (PSOs) get back up to 75 percent of project costs
- Rebates for DCFC of 100 kW or higher are for medium- and heavy-duty (MHD) fleets only
- Light-duty fleets are limited to $50,000 per charger, even if the charger is over 100 kW
- Organizations applying for both DCFC and Level 2 charging stations will be considered on a case-by-case basis

Fleet assessments and electrical upgrade rebates
Fleets with BC Hydro electrical service
You can only apply for charging station rebates.
BC Hydro supports electric fleet planning and infrastructure upgrades for their customers.
Fleets with FortisBC electrical service
Get back 50 percent of assessment costs and 33 percent of electrical upgrade costs.
- Indigenous communities get back 75 percent of project costs
- Public sector organizations (PSOs) get back up to 75 percent of project costs
