Get a rebate of up to 50% (up to $350) to install a Level 2 (240 volt) charging station in your single-family home, duplex, or townhouse with private garage or dedicated parking area.

How it works

Choose an EV charger

Find a charger from the list of eligible Level 2 chargers under the program. You can reference this list of eligible chargers.

Buy and install your EV charger

To be eligible for a rebate you must first purchase and install an eligible charger. Keep all your receipts or invoices to submit with your rebate application.

Redeem your rebate

Submit your application within 90 days of the charger installation. Apply online for your rebate on your electricity provider’s website.

There are three types of EV charger rebates for condominiums and apartment buildings.

You need to be pre-approved for a rebate before buying or installing chargers.

Available rebates

EV ready plan rebate

Stratas or building owners can get a rebate of up to 75% of the costs, to a maximum of $3,000 to develop an EV Ready plan for a building.

EV ready infrastructure rebate

Stratas or building owners can get a rebate up to 50% of the infrastructure and installation costs, to a maximum of $600 per parking stall, and a project maximum of $120,000. 

EV charger rebate

Get rebates on the cost of purchasing and installing EV chargers at your building.

Workplace

Get rebates on the cost of purchasing and installing EV chargers at your workplace.

Pre-approval is required before purchasing or installing chargers at your workplace.
