How to apply

Visit your local EV dealership. The rebate will be applied at the time of purchase.

Eligibility requirements


Applicant must:

Be a B.C.-based business, non-profit organization or local government

Have a valid B.C. driver’s license

Have valid operating license or be a non-profit organization or public body

Rebate amounts


Eligible applicants can get rebates of:

  • $3,000 for battery electric, fuel-cell, and long-range plug-in hybrid vehicles
  • $1,500 for plug-in hybrid vehicles with an electric range less than 85 km

Number of rebates


Car-share organizations can get up to 50 rebates (1 rebate per vehicle). Businesses can get up to 10 rebates.
